    4/7AFE plug wires on a non-vvti 1zzfe

    Does anyone know if the plug wires from the AFE engine will work on the 1zzfe (98 vintage)? The only part that I can see that might be an issue is the boot that connects to the coil pack

    No. You need 98-00 Corolla specific coil pack wires. NGK and Magnecore makes them.
