    I've got more BANDWIDTH! WOO HOO!

    Got an email yesterday that my Cable Provider is going to double my bandwidth. Today the internet seemed a bit faster so I did a bandwidth test.

    It used to be 3mbit down 256k up, so they doubled the down and gave me another 3rd on the upload. All for free! I just had to share :) I hear that some cable providers are giving out over 8mbit, everyone post your results from...

    My connection at home. I used to be getting around 12mbps and I have comcast. That is beacause no one on my block had comcast before lol. Now a few people have it and connection started to go down.

    lol... thats pretty good speed.

    i have the 10 meg from charter.... test says... 9436 down and 945 up. but its kind of expensive at 70 bucks a month.

    10meg for 70 is not that expensive. Im paying like 60 something at comcast and they state speeds of 6megs. Of course no one on my block has comcast so Im runnin at like 8-9. When I first got it and after they upgraded, I was runnin at 12megs which is just amazing.
