yeah i used to have a few of those comics. couldnt read them because they werent translated...

Before Initial D

So before Initial D, there was a comic book and video game called Wangan Midnight. This was the first comic book that I read when I was little that was related to cars and after watching the movie, I was all into the nissan 240zx aka Fairlady Z. I never was much of a fan of the S30 Z but rather the next gen S130 Z was more the car for me but a the time I was still in elementary school so I couldnt afford a car. hehe.

Anyway the comic/movie has now turned into a cartoon done by the same people who made initial D therefore you will see similar animation with cell shaded cars. If you guys haven't checked the comic out in the past, I would say check out the cartoon.

I got first 2 episodes last night, I like the mood it sets! its a good anime and I love the Nissan Z I recommend this Anime, it is very good.
