    Changing an oil pan...

How hard/labor intensive is it to change the lower oil pan on a 95? Would it be "easier" to take it into a shop? The threads for the drain plug are crossed on mine and now I've got a lovely leak...

Also, where would I be able to pick one up? I can't find it at Kragen, Autozone or Napa...

depends on if it's a 4afe or 7afe..... they don't use the same oilpans

however, a 4afe shares oilpans with a 4age (not 20V's though) and 4agze..... the US versions have an extra hole drilled in them for the oil cooler line though... JDM motors do not

WOW!!! A 4-6 hour job... I thought it was just the simple removal of the many bolts that are visible from underneath an replace... Yikes. I was just talking to a mechanic that said that it'd only be a 1 hour job...

oh yeah, I've got the 1.8L, that's the 4afe, right?
