close weekend

this weekend i nearly wrote my car off twice in as many days.
day one. going to visit my parents who live in a rural area, single lane road with dirt and trees on each side. i was doing bout 70-80k's when some one comes flying out of the driveway about 10 meters infront of me, heading my way. luckily i got track brakes wit abs and track suspension so i dove on the brakes and swung it to the left, just missing a tree and luckily the brakes didnt lock up on the dirt so i was able to swing back onto the road. i think i missed him by about a meter. after this i went home and and straight to the loo

day two. had a dog walk in front of me at 50k's. manage to lock up one wheel and just nudged the dog as i stopped and near had a truck run up the arse of me.

Damn. Close calls. Happy to hear that you and the car are alright.

I hate those sh!t yourself moments.
