    ok so I just got my elp cai (tube only) for my 98 corolla from ebay and i had a couple of q's about it. first, what is the little hole at the top portion of the pipe for? and sesond, what is the little piece that protrudes out of the top portion of the pipe for?

    The hole is for the air flow sensor. The nipple is for the vaccuum line. They're all on your stock air box.
