I am looking into getting an engine block heater for my car. Anyone have a link to a good one? Thanks

How cold does it get in New Windsor? I have sucessfully started my car in -10F this past winter - all with the stock battery. Why install the block heater if the car starts?

Instant heat. I have a plug right in front of my car at work so I figured what the heck.

As I work for a GM dealer I just odered mine for a vibe, think it was about $40.. real easy to install, hard to see where it goes but if you were standig in front of your car and reach in on the Dr. side of the Head/block area you'll feel a hole that the heater snapped into place, run the cord and your done

starting is only part of the problem, metal fatigue from th ehuge temprature shifts is another concern. we kept heaters on the engins on the boats when i was in the coast guard even down here in FL.

Well the Pontiac Vibe is built on the same unibody chassis as the Corolla Matrix, and it uses the exact same 1ZZ engine we have, so I assume it should work.
