im excited

I watched it yesterday (gizmodo had the tralier), and it looks BADA$$. I can't wait!

And just for discussion's sake: Robert Downey, Jr. is PERFECT for Tony Stark. He's just cynical and cocky enough to pull the role off. But still totally bada$$. This movie will own.

cgreen38 - good point on Robert Downey, Jr. being a good matchup for the character Tony Stark.

Also sounds like Samuel L. Jackson will play the character Nick Fury - previously played by "The Hoff" (hard to take this guy seriously as a bad ass) - should add a little more attitude to that role, maybe less James Bond and more Shaft.

Looks like it should be pretty good - normally when they take something from a well known source, like videogames or comics, and make it into a feature movie - it is more or less weaksauce. This looks like it be quite a bit different - taking after hits like Transformers and the Spiderman series. Can't wait.

I getting kinda tired of all these comic book movies. I've never heard of Iron Man before. I guess it's a bit past my prime to have memories of this...but I won't even lie, just by the looks of it, the movie looks to be quite promising.

And btw, i'm seriously diggin that R8 at the beginning...

looks great, when i first saw the suit he quickly made i was like wtF? i mean i know he was in hiding or whatever and thats all he had...but it looked really weird but im glad the original suit is in the movie....looks very good

You mean the prototype suit - yeah that is pretty bad ass. Playing Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" song as he is whipping everyone's ass in the room, in the trailer, just makes that scene.

According to some industry blurbs - they will cover some of the different suit variations and other clad characters like War Machine and Iron Monger. Should be a lot of giid scenes in there.

well i mean when we first see ironman wearing that huge not red suit, once he breaks through the doors...i thought it was weird lol

when i was a little kid my favorite character on marvel comics was iron man and i just hope this movie has alot action.
