I'm going to rebuilt my 7afe... Just with new pistons and going to port by head.. I'm just wounder how much can the stock 7afe piston take... Cause my corolla i turbo and the rebuilt is just going to cost me $675 - $700.. I finally have teh emanagement to contral my fuel/air so... Yes, so how much lb's of boost can the 7afe handle???

It really depends on the condition of the motor and how well its tuned. Ive heard of people running 10-15 lbs and not blowing anything, but also heard of them blowing at 5-7 lbs.

go get some pistons from a 4agze, and some piston sticks from paulter. There was this guy who claim to have ran 14psi on a stock block with no probs, but i'd stick to single digits unless u have a extra engine lying around in ur garage.

upgrade your stock internals with what... I have been lookng up infor about 4agze pistons on a 7afe and they say it won't work...So cancel 4agze pistons...
