    Reciever surround removal

    I've got a Sony reciever in my 99 corolla right now and need to take it out to put in my other car. Best Buy installed it last september and I failed to watch them do it. I was wondering how to take the plastic surround off without breaking the small clips or whatever is holding it on. From there I believe I can handle it. Thanks.

    Take a small flathead screwdriver and GENTLY pry the bottom out. There are 2 slots on the bottom that I used, that's where the clips are. when you've got the bottom out slide your fingers around the bezel until the whole thing pops out.

    Installation is reverse of removal. :p Just push it back in.

    I just stick my fingers up on top and pull...yanks right off. Kinda hard to break those clips.
