    Replacing Springs / Struts

Say I want to lower my car with the Tein H-Tech springs (1.4" or so), what would I need, obviously the springs, and some aftermarket struts (any recommendations on a good strut to go with those springs?). Anything else I would need?

Springs and struts..that's about it. You may want to check and see if your stock strut boots are still okay (I replaced one today, but the other one looks fine).

As far as tools..I can't remember all the right sizes (I think 19mm for the big stud bolts). The two main bolts need to be torqued to 208 pounds, so you may need a breaker bar (and a torque wrench to put it back together).

Don't forget to take the rubber things out of the old struts -- they go between the strut seat and the spring, both top and bottom. New struts don't come with them..we kinda forgot about it on one of mine..but that strut went bad a year-ish later -- and somehow, I hadn't lost it yet. It's all good now..replaced it today (strut, strut boot, and put the rubber thing back in) :p
