Fog light relay rewire

    Fog light relay rewire

    I installed a relay to turn on the fogs from the parking lights. however it only turns on when the headlights are on, and not when parking lights go on. Ive checked the voltage and its the same 12V-14V at parking and full on.:confused::confused:

    Basically i want to turn my fogs when i turn on my park lights and remain on when i trurn my headlights on.

    Anyone have any experience with relays and fog rewire?? BTW is an 2000 witha 01 front swap.

    nevermind, the Ground was hooked up to the headlight grond which only works when the headlights are on. DOO!

    I know prizms are the same as corollas but I was looking around the other day and do you guys know if prizms come wired for fogs like the corolla. I know the cars are virtually the same except for some interior design and the taillights/front end but mines an 01 so idk if it would be.

    i dont know. I hooked my up to turn on with my parking lights. Im gonna throw a switch later to give me more versitility. Incase i dont want them on at all.

    can you put a diagram up cause I'm doing the same MOD on my 98 I have a 02 front end and want my fog lights on when I have my parking lights on ...

    The Fuse box is your Positive wire signal from the Corner light/parklight. You can add a switch or just bypass it.

    Go to radio shack and pick up one of these, its better if you get one with the harness, that way it just plugs in.
