cool stuff can't wait to see the new IS300 or maybe IS430 possibly... Does anyone know what might the new IS look like... the only idea in my mind is something close to the new GS that was in the earlier auto show...

Yeah the LF-C concept vehicle is officially a hint at what the IS300 will look like, but concept cars evolve a lot and the LF-C is a bit too futuristic looking. There is no denying, it is one hell of a good looking car. There is another concept sport sedan Lexus revealed in the Tokyo Auto Show ( it will be released in 2006) , it looked exactly like what the Toyota Supra would look today. It had cues from the Supra MK4.

The Supra look-alike sport sedan is the real deal. It is one of the best looking sport sedan/coupes I have ever seen. Unfortunately, I cannot find any pics on it since it was only shown in the presentation slides.

there isn't gonna be an IS430, toyota already said tehy're not making it for sure.

also, the new GS300 is gonna sport a completely new V6, instead of an I6, so we can most likely assume that the LF-C/new IS will no longer have the 2jz either.

If you look at the presentation of the Lexus LF-C concept car, which was presented as the prospective next generation IS300, they said it will have a 'V8' in it. Right now, IS300 has a straight-6 cylinder setup while the IS430 had a V8 in it. That pretty much leaves no doubt that the next IS300 will have a V8 ( or an option available).
