Odometer?

    Odometer?

    Random question...

    Where does the odometer read from? The front or rear axle? Is it the same on all cars? Does it make a difference whether the car is FWD or RWD?

    I think for alot of cars it comes from the differential... the 240sx comes to mind. I dunno about our cars though.

    I was just wondering for when you tow a car like behind an RV or by a tow truck. Do they rack up miles then? Like I said, it was a random question but that's me :rolleyes:
