    Suggestions for Audio System.

I am planning to go for a Pioneer System.

    Pioneer Deck

    Pioneer Amp

    Pioneer Speakers (back and front)

I already have a sub (not pioneer, cause they blow)

    but anyhow...

    The pt is.

Can someone suggest me something good? Worth maybe about $1000 US. ? Is it doable this job?

I need. Amp for the speakers, 4 speakers (2 back 2 front), the tweeters (i will use the $2 method), and.. i need.. a deck :)

Or if you think there is another full '1 company' system I should look at. Please suggest it to me too.

I dont really want to go with Sony because... Sony is Sony. I never liked them, except for their decks :)

I like Kenwood, but they are very very very $$$...

I don't know much about the brand, but there is one thing I must warn you.

DO NOT USE THE $2 METHOD IF YOU ARE GOING TO UPGRADE THE STOCK SPEAKERS AND AMP.

It works with stock sysem best, but will blow your stock tweeters if you are pushing them with amp. The best solution is buying a good pair component speakers and put new tweeters where the old tweeters locate.

There is a old thread that you can find tons of information about it.

Also I hear people talking about this component system and stuff.

What do you mean about component system?

Does that mean, you have all the tweeters, door speakers, and back speakers all linked up in the same brand working all together in 1 amp kinda thing?

Please explain, I am a newbie to audio systems.

components have a cross over.....so its like 4 speakers for the front only. you get the 6.5 or 6" and a 1"1/4 tweeter. what the cross over does it sperates the mids and highs. so that you get mid bass in the 6.5 and your highs in the tweeter only

As far as Pioneer goes........they are with out a dout the best speakers to upgrade towith out an amp...........I have 6x9 Pioneers in my car with 75watts to each one and they sound very clear. Im getting something like infintys or focals for my components. They are pricy and I wouldn't recomend them unless you got some serouis bass. I have 2 12"mtx(500watts each)

Yeah, I heard Focal has really good vocal and they sound smooth. Infinity is good too but their high are kinda harsh for some ppl.
