looks like a lawn divider. i used to have one of those lips. you spent 13 bucks? you got jipped. i spent 7 bucks on mine, and enough for my friends car too. so there we have it, 2 cars for 7 bucks. i took mine off though, it scrapped everything.

    Yes..

It is lawn divider from Lowes...

And depending on your eye for detail and craftsmanship...
it can be made to look very good...

I must apologize for the suspense... but i sort of wanted to gauge your reactions first and see if this had been done.

    like i said...
from the honda guy to the toyota guys.

with the limited parts available for the corolla, any little bit helps, right?
    especially if it's executed well!

the key is in how to make it not look like its made out of rubber (i believe its more of a pliable plastic)...

    you need the following:
the lawn edge trim, superduperincredibleindustrialallseason tape (3M i think it is - but something that can withstand temperature extremes), tap screws, sandpaper, scissors, and spray paint (on my civic which was granada black i used painter's touch glossy enamel from sears - matched perfectly).

take a length of the trim from about 1" in the fenderwell, make your way across the front of the car and to the other fenderwell, again ending about 1" in...

sand down the trim and clean up.

apply the super tape to the inside-top edge of the trim.

carefully apply the trim to the front bumper.

    paint well.

drill 1 tap screw each in the fenderwells to secure the 1" of trim from earlier.
where the trim sits partially hidden by the license plate, drill 2 more screws on each side.

    again...
it all depends on how good your craftsmanship is...
it ended up looking very good and decided once the weather gets warmer we will continue to make side skirts.

you may need to run a wire along the back to prevent deformity at higher velocities but that seems not to be necessary for those not driving faster than 80mph.

hope i was able to spark some more mod ideas.
