Just lay vinyl over it yourself.

i have no idea what to say i'd rather have it painted since vinyl will mess up later in the future.I think due to the heat. both of my Rollas came with the door frames unpainted and left black. just go get an estimate if you do not want to do it yourself.

Pick up some trim paint from autozone, that should be the best color for it.

I would use a 3M scuff pad from a automotive paint supply store, then clean it with denatured alcohol before painting.. remember prep and masking is the most important part to a good paint job, so dont rush it.

I figure there's more important stuff for the car than that, like a turbo down the line.

I love the fact that my car has the pillars painted black but the color keyed pillars is actually something that was put on the higher end models I think (I could be wrong... :S )

the color matched pillars are on the lower end models. The CE has the pillars painted and the S has them black. Black looks much better in my opinion, especially w/ tinted windows. i asked the same question by the way earlier, and everyone discouraged me from using vinyl because it wouldn't last. It's interesting though because my bros tC has what looks like vinyl on the doors, and its a black car anyway

No, the black pillars were designated by year. I believe that the 98 and 99 models had black pillars, and the 00 and 01 had color matched regardless of model. Not sure if that works exactly in the 92 - 97 models.

Don't use vinyl it won't be durable enough and it will end up looking like crap.
    Painting would be easier anyways.
