2000 Corolla - Inst. Panel Light not working

    Hello all,

Usually my instrument panel lights up in the back when it gets dark. This happens automatically but a few days ago I went under a bridge and the instrument panel lights went on and off. It was really freaking out and going on and off rapidly.

So now during the night, there's no instrument panel back lighting (I cannot see the speedometer, gasoline gauge, etc.). Also, theres no lighting for my radio lcd (stock) nor do the lights come on for the ac/heater switches. Everything is dark in the temperature control section except for the big "AC" button which still lights up when I press it.

I've checked the fuses under the hood and they seem to be fine. Could it be a relay?

Thanks for the help in advanced.
