96 taillight how do u take it off?

    96 taillight how do u take it off?

    i'm trying to take my dad's taillight apart to change the bulb and there's 2 weird mounting brackets that dont look like they can come off.. i can't figure out how to open it to release the taillight. the only solution that i can tink of is to break it... is that how you guys did it..? or how do u do it.. ?
