I can tell you how to get sponsored. The easiest way to get sponsored to beat the pavement yourself. It is lame to pay someone to get you sponsored or anything like that. All you have to do is contact who you want to be sponsored by and ask them if they want to sponsor you. How do I know? I am sponsored by 2 companies, could be more, but I lost interest in my car. The more you have on your car, the better and more involved your sponsors will be. If you are just starting out and your car is bone stock, it is going to be harder for your to get a sponsorship. It i also easier to get sponsorships at the beginning of the year, during the winter than it is during the spring and summer, why? because it is the biggest time for people to show off their stuff. I would find companies that have cool stuff, get on their get sponsored by them, run their stickers, and fix your car up. Like I said, the more stuff that you have on your car, rims, tires, kit, turbo, ect. the more shows your win, the more people you attract to your car, the more sponsorships you'll get. Hopefully if you stick it out you'll get a full sponsorship ride. That is what everybody shoots for, but rarely get in the sport compact world. Normally they sponsor their own car like a greddy Nissan Skyline, or garrett supra ect. Sponsorships are available for everyone, but most often, people are looking for a factory ride, and you just aren't going to get it. Start at the bottom, and work your way up.

I guess it depends on what type of sponsorship you want but how my friend used to get sponsored was to just call up all the companies and try to get sponsorships. you have to provide info of why they should sponsor you, what events you are planning on attending, what you have atteneded already, why you want them to sponsor you, etc. i THINK the most important thing i've learned in getting sponsorships is always to follow up on everything. most people dont follow up and therefore lose a potential sponsorship.
