    Air bag question

    hey do you guys know if the 2003-2005 Corolla Airbags will fit in the 01-02 Corolla S and the 00-05 Celica steering wheels?

    i'm gonna say negative... i think they are a different wheel design. i could be wrong tho, the only 03+'s I've been in are S or XRS models

    they both are the 3 spoke ones, im talkin about the black air bag off a 2005 Corolla S fitting into the 2001 Corolla S steering wheel, they look identical in pictures but i just want to confirm before i purchase one.

    ahh... indeed then, I think those are the same wheels. sorry, I had imagined the square lookin one for some reason. ;)

    the plug for the airbag is different. The 00-02 uses a single plug and the 03+ uses a dual plug design. if you want to put a 03+ airbag into a earlier model you would need to swap the spiral cable as well

    ah ok, thanks man, i almost spent $150 on a 05 airbag.

    so wut air bag will fit in the 01-02 Corolla steering wheel?

    00-02 Celica/MR2/Corolla S would all work. they're a bit hard to find for a good price tho. I lucked out and found one on ebay for $150 buy it now. keep your eye out on car-parts.com also. Thats where I got my GT-S wheel for $50
