    Amp-Stereo Power connect question

Hey guyz, I think this is my first post..anyways..

I have a Kenwood KDC-MPV5025 Stereo unit and I am connecting it to a Kenwood KAC-5201 2 cahnnel amp.

I got my stereo installed at Cartoys, and am installing my amp myself. I have all the wiring done except the Remote Power control on the amp. When I went to connect it the the Blue/White wire on the stereo..it was already in use. The manual states its the power control for ext amplifier or power antenna.

I do not have a power antenna, so I'm wondering what the used it for.

    I have a 2005 Corolla S.

K, well I got it all hooked up now. I called Cartoys who installed the stereo, and they said just to splice into that wire, so I did. Now my amp comes on but I got no output..:(

I think the woofer is blown, is it typical for a blown woofer not to output any sound, not even buzz when blown?

If your amp is coming on, then that is working as far as that, check and make sure that you have your RCAs connected, and make sure that your subs are in phase, after that, make sure that your amp is turned up, and make sure that your amp isn't turned off from some sub output setting on the cd player

I got one 12" JBL 2 coil. It was already pre-wired for 4ohm operation. As far as stereo settings, I set the output for the rca to Sub-W and turned the output all the way up to +15 (goes to +18) but nodda, zilch, not a thing..Maybe theres another setting somewhere. I'll have to check it out some more..ty for the help.
