goto bestbuy or circuit city and check on a decent 4 channel amp, shouldn't be 2 expensive (what head unit are you using? does it have front and rear preamp output?)

the headunit is pioneer DEH-P360 50 W x 4....it got dual preouts and subwoofer out whatever the hell that means....i have one 12 in the trunk powered by an amp which powers all the speakers.....i dont feel like im getting all the power though....does that mean i should run a separate amp to the front and rears speakers and just power the amp to the sub?

in mnay set up... a separate amp to the subwoofer is best.... imo bridge it mono

adjust the input level etc to ur liking (bass)

a good amp that rms atleast 50 watts x 4 like rockford or jl will be very nice to power speakers inside

    the 6 x 9's rms is 80 watts 400 watts max
the 6 and a halves are 50 watts rms 220 watts max

i got a focal amp driving the sub right now....so the amp that i get to the front and rear speakers has to match the rms wattage or the max wattage?

get a 400-600 watt 4 channel amp for all your interiors and then have your amp for your sub... everything should be cool

what size power cable do you have running to the trunk?

hm not sure what you mean by bridge? you said you had dual preamp outputs (front and rear) + subwoofer. From your battery you should have maybe a 4 guage or 8 guage running to the trunk for you existing focal amp. By a spliting box to take that 4 guage or 8 guage into 2 8 guage outputs. 1 goes to your sub-amp and the one goes to your new amp. Buy a 0.5-1 farad cap as well if you want something super clean
