annoying factory alarm

    annoying factory alarm

    Is there a way to disable the horn and add on a siren. I have a factory alarm installed and it is integrated into my horn. It's annoying. also I added on an aftermarket autostart and it doesn't seem to work well with the alarm system. Anyone out there have new alarm systems installed? :?:

    I would venture a guess that any good auto alarm shop (or even the dealer) could modify the alarm to your satisfaction.

    You should not have any problems with your alarm after you installed an aftermarket starter. Who ever installed it should look over his wiring again.(I know because I work in the industry). There is no way for you to integate a siren to your factory alarm.
