I don't need to shake the parts off..... also what's better for the enclosure.......sealed or ported??? and where can I get the dash kit for the head-unit cause it's double din........anyway thnx alot people.....................big up to the owner of the site.........great place for us owners............ :

Yes the speakers are 6 1/2s in the front and 6x9s in the rear deck. The front speakers you will need a adapter to fit in a new 6 1/2 speaker just ask the a car audio shop on solving that problem. As for the 6x9s they need no custom modifications, u just take out your old 6x9s and put in the new ones. A 12inch sub is a good choice if ur not into extreme bass. A JL audio sub like a 12w3 is a good choice for a sub its very clear and loud. The sub enclosure many tend to use sealed boxes cuz they have a good tight bass though ported is good for if u want hella-loud bass in your trunk it usually doesnt have a clear sound to it. The headunit dash kit can be found on souddomain.com or at circuit city for a reasonable price. The dash kit will allow you to use a single din headunit instead of a double din.
    Hope this info helps :D

yup it helps...............so what you mean is that we don't have to cut nothing off in the front door for the 6 1/2 just add a little something to work and also what's the circuit city??? never heard about this............also i plan to buy a alpine type r `12 inch or a infinity perfect 12 inch ...........so for quality i'll go with a sealed box.............thnx for the infos..........

The front speakers are riveted (bolted) in, you will need to drill out the rivets in order to get the stock speakers out.

Well, the wiring for the rear speakers are soldered in, and the front onea are riveted in. I think it would be quite a bit of a hassle to reinstall the stock speakers. It could be done.. but it would probably be better to buy some cheap aftermarket ones to put back in instead of the stock ones.

Have you considered the Infinity Basslink?

I'm using one and all in all it's pretty decent. It's a very small package (8 inches by 12 inches by 14 inches) with a 10 inch driver, 10 inch passive radiator and a built in 200 watt class D amp. It's not going to shake the car to pieces, but it's a nice tight clean sub.
