    AutoPage RS-850LCD Alarm Installed!!

I just wanted to inform people that are in same shoes I was with choosing the right car alarm. I've done an intensive research and found that the AutoPage brand was better. (I went w/ the RS-850LCD ) over the CompuStar 2WSS-AS model. There was a few features that AutoPage has over the CompuStar. (Correct me if I'm wrong). Here are my 3 key feaures that caught my attention.

#3)interior tempature sensor, this tells me how hot / cold the interior is inside my car before getting into it. (this is on the remote)

#2)Schedule start time, I can set the time I want the car to startup. I usually have my car start up 5 to 10 min before I leave for work. (Summer'ish/fall'ish time right now).

#1) From what I've heard, This has an auto start feature that starts the car if the tempature falls below a certain set tempature, which I set. Thus running for a short period of time, in order to keep the fluids from freezing. This is usefull here in Minneapolis, MN where the tempature can reach well below 0 degrees during Winter. I'm still working on this feature. ( I don't RTFM, LOL, But eventually I will)

of coarse, both mfg has remote starter w/ engine kill switch, alarm, etc..
Oh yeah, one of the thing that CompuStar has over Autopage is a turbo charger setup. (that's if you have a turbo charger, this will let the tc cool down before shutting the engine off. [from what I was told]).

Anyways, Both are about the same in cost if bough and installed by professionals (I would not recommed for newbie's) ($499 -$599 price quoted from various shops in Mpls, MN). I got my parts and labor cheap from a very good buddy, who happens to be a pro at this. (and this is what he does for a living). Brand new too:) Can't say price, too cheap to mentioned, but a huge markup, all I can say. Which I would still do at full price. Majority of the people I hang out with has either AutoPage or CompuStar.

Despite the website that AutoPage has, I still love my alarm. However, CompuStar has inproved on their website. (Use to be like Autopage's site), but with

I hope this help, if there is any questions, ask me :), I'll try my best to answer them.
