Are there any styles (companies) selling carbon fiber hoods that will fit an 04 corolla S, and what do they usually run? The only one i found is made by some cheap company for $200. Do they also fade if they arent protected with a certain chemical?

It usually cost around $350 to $450 plus shipping.

I think they do fade if their not protected. It should come coated though, but then again it does cost $200 bucks.

yep, I concur. $200 is hella cheap.
I'm not to sure on the fading of the carbon fiber, but I know of
some cases in where the clear coat starts flaking, in those cases
you can sand the hood down and re-clear the hood. I was kind of
shocked at the quality of most carbon fiber hoods and decided not to
get one.

VIS makes the best hoods...so i'd go with them if you can find a hood for cheap.

I dont mind if they do fade. I'll just sand it and paint it. It's hella cheap man.
