i like how they put a CYA on the buckle, "not a safety device"

    cya: Cover Your Ass.

it's just another way for them to say it won't work 100% like a racing seatbelt or save you from a crash...

I was watching their video and and it does keep you glued to your seat. I was wording if there is another device out there that locks both the lap and shoulder belt.

there is only one problem. I had something like that on my old old buick one. when you gotta go to the bathroom (esp on long drives), those things make you wanna go more. So with that in mind, i dont like it.

i was thinking about getting it, for canyon runs and my rather spirited driving habits. Technically it should work. i 've tried just just pulling on my shoulder belt and getting the lap belt tight and you feel a lot more secure.

I would get a real harness but to do it right you'd need to put in some kind of a B-pillar bar to get the strees points on your back right onther wise you can have serious back problems.

I don't know about real harness since I never try it. But I think the purpose of it is just hold you in your seat during really hard braking or jumping up/down (rally) and crash.
I have a cheapo racing seat but have no harness. I think racing seat is enough to hold you not rolling from side to side with your spirit driving or hard corner. Unless you're a really really skinny person. :D

Or... you can just get the real racing 4 or 5 point harness. At least those are actually proven to hold you in safely. This thing looks doubtful. It might work, but that warning is haha yep CYA. LOL

True, but that would require serious modification, and depending on how many point cage you get could make the car terrible for driving becuase the lateral door bars would get in the way of easy exit and entry of the car.
