disabling DRL with ebrake

    disabling DRL with ebrake

    will it void my warranty to disable it using the ebrake trick

    It wont, if you used the harness kit.

    what about the ebrake trick, because i relayed a switch so i could turn the light with that switch.

    you relayed a switch so you could do what?

    The ebrake trick wont do anything. Just make sure you have a way of reversing it when you go to the dealer. If you are too cheap to buy the relay harness you could dissable the DRL's by cutting the ground wire off both your headlight harnesses, then connect them both together and run it to a switch inside the car. Then ground the other end of the switch. when the switch is on the lights will come back on and work just fine. But whenever you want to turn your headlights on you will need to flip the DRL switch and then turn on the main switch on the end of the left handle.

    Having the ebrake light on everytime you start the car, and run the car, or even at the dealers when they are trying to move ur car, isnt a good thing :)

    They would be like, "wtf, the handbrakes are down... this kid must be messing around with the electronics.. LETS VOID HIM!!" :p hehee
