    DRL disable question

I'm trying to do the DRL disable the moonshadowmadness way but i'm not real sure on something

    Heres the link

So anyways. You take the wire under the dash and you cut it in half. And you hook part of it up to the extension wire and hook that into your switch. But what i'm wondering is what you do with the other part that you cut. Do you just leave it hanging there or what?

ok scratch that i think i figured it out.. But I got another question now. Does it matter what kinda toggle switch you use? I went to radio shack and bought a "rocker switch" and it's rated 6amps at 125VAC can i use this or should i get a stronger one?

The size of the switch doesn't really matter. The switch just connects and disconnects the ground. The headlight's power is not sent through these wires. Only signals from the ECU to the DRL control module (almost sure it's less than 12 V).
