grounding for a new head unit

    grounding for a new head unit

    where did you guys use to ground your new head unit to th car ? pics would be especially helpful :x. the kind with circles haha :x. but anything would help. thanks guys.

    doh still cofnused.

    so i stripped all the wires and put on the crimp snap connectors but i noticed in the scosche harness i got there's a ground wire that runs back into the harness. does that mean i don't need to ground any wires to anything? help help :x. pelase. haha

    If you are using the scosche harness and you connect up the wires correctly, you'll be grounded through the factory harness. If you're running seperate amps it's best not to use the factory harness for the ground. Run a 10 gage wire from the head unit to wherever your amps are grounded to minimize noise.
