    draw power directly from the battery, not a source inside the car that onlly provides power when the key is turned

    who cares if its on while you are driving as long as the bulbs are not visible there should not be to big of a problem. just put in a switch between the power wire and teh battery. that way you can control everytning. all you would need is some 12 gauge wire from teh batery back and then a switch then hook up as many as you want after that.

    Ok i'll take it as you got those lil mini neons with the cigarette plugs. anyways did u get more than 1 tube?? I want some pink ones. Like i want 4 of them. Two for the front and two for the back. But i want them to all be connected into 1 plug thing. So i can run 4 neons at once. Like have all 4 wires into 1 wire, b/c i don't have 4 cigarette plugs. How do u do that (connect 4 wires into 1). Is that even possible??

    You can actually hardwire the neons to your car and have a toggle switch. All you need is a basic wiring diagram of some electrical system in your car thats not ignition hot. Something the like map lights or dome lights. After you find the power wire for that just splice into the wires and wire in a switch to toggle it on and off. Or you could do a gheet job and wire it like I wired my underbody neons. I just cut the wire for my switch and plugged it into a slot in my fuse box and used that to power it. Its a crappy job, but its pretty easy to take out.

    best way to do it is draw power directly from the battery.

    Battery--->inline fuse--->Switch----> hardwire to neon.

    hit me up on AIM or PM if you have any questions... i know that was a REAL REAL basic explanation but ive done alot of work with neons and stuff.
