    HELP, wiring gauges

so i bought a volt meter and oil pressure gauges. my question is it says i need 2 engine grounds, and "headlamp other 12v source" "12v ignition switch +" "to 12 terminal on ignition switch or other 12v source".

my first question is can i ground the two grounds together into the a pillar or do i have to do it to the battery terminal?

next is for the 3 12v connections, were do i get each one, do they have to be 3 different connections?

    thanks

the grounds can all be tied together to the frame. the +12V feeds I think each is specific wires.

    1) yes you can ground all teh gauges to the same location
    2) illumination - tap this into +12 to a dash light (instriument cluster/ center console) OR find the +12 when parking light is on from the dimmer
12V ign switch - Black/Yellow from your Ignition Switch Harness

I recommend using T taps or scotch locks to tap in tand testing wires with a test light

i think the "headlamp other 12v source" is the dimmer. for the other two can i use the same 12v source or do i need 2 seperate ones and 2 seperate ones for the other gauge?

you can tap it into either for illumination.

12V ign powers up when key is in the ON position. 12V constant is always on. It depends on when you want your gauges to power up.

they are tinted so you cant see them unless they are lit. so in this case i want power to the two gauges and two lights when the key is on regardless if the lights are on. so in this case could i tie all the power lines together and just splice all 4 in at ounce or do i have to use 4 seperate wires?
