    HID install..

Are HID lights hard to install?? Cus i was looking into getting them but i'm not very electrial person. But i mean i can run wires and stuff and connect things. I'm just not into splicing wires and everything hehe

I can't stand having to buy headlights every 3 months. It's a waste of money.

Also how long to HID lightbulbs last?

A full OEM-style kit like CATZ-HID would come with all the necessary mounting/electrical equipment, making installation a breeze. After installation, you'll still want to get the headlights re-aimed though because it's dangerous (not to mention @$$hole-ish) to have one HID lamp shooting right into someone's rear-view mirror. Toyota dealerships can do that alignment for just $29 bucks, or you can do it yourself if you feel competent enough.

The only difficult part of your installation will be removing DRL on your vehicle (if you are an S or LE). HID lamps were not designed for two-phase operation. DRL supply a reduced amount of power to headlamps, and full power when you actually flip the switch inside. This system will cause premature failure of the HID bulbs and result in costly replacements. There are DIYs up to disable DRLs.

The e-brake method is very easy and fast, but I don't like the constant-on brake light. I sometimes DO forget to lower my e-brake and that light is my only indicator. The relay method seems like a much more effective method which allows you the full useful function of all your lights and switches, and I think is well worth it even though it takes more time. Actually, it takes more time than it is difficult. So don't view it as hard, but rather, just very tedious.
