I took off the shifter surround and I cant figure out how the heck to remove the actual shift knob from my AT rolla. I see behind the shifter theirs 2 screws which I unscrewed but the thing doesnt come off.. anyone know how to remove it? i dont wanna pull it hard cause the overdrive wires are holding it (dont wana rip it off)

yeah...i wanna know how to take off the shift knob too. i wanna get a new shift knob for my rolla. also, is it possible to not have an overdrive button or to move it to a different spot somehow? because most of the shift knobs for automatics don't have a overdrive button.

If u want a new shiftknob just cut the damn cables of the overdrive and put a new shift knob.Thats the only way to do it and yes u can drive with out the overdrive when uhit 3rd just bring the shift down to 2nd and automaticali it will become the 3rd and 3rd passes to be the 4th.

i replaced my shift knob by just cutting the O/d wires, and bought myself a carbon fiber shift knob with o/d on it, then i connect the wires, and now i have overdrive wit a nice cf knob =]
