hai there BIG BoYZ. and ice master....
really need your guyz advice...
becoz this fews day i heard tat my Stock speaker sound became more worst since i install a preamp and a crossover and also a HU tat i take from my daddy car... the problem is ... When i turn down my preamp volume then i turn my HU louder.. then the sound started to "BRoKEN" if i turn my Peramp sound to max volume then the sound will better a bit.. sorry for my poor english hope u ppl understand '-.- izzit the problem with my HU no good or i need to buy new componet set ?

anyway, i think your STOCK speakers can't handle all that power. you might need a new set of speakers for the front and the back. i changed my speakers when i took out my old HU and replaced it with a new HU because the stock speakers could not handle all that power. hope this helps a little bit bro. peace.

there's a whole lot of speakers out in the market. infinity, jvc, pioneer, alpine, polk audio, sony, boston acoustics, kenwood, etc.... the list goes on.

best way is to go to the store and try out the speakers that they have. you won't be able to tell what the sound quality is if you don't try the speakers before you buy it. besides, it is fun looking at audio equipments in there. good luck shopping my friend.

try infinity reference speakers or polk audio. thosee are good.

infinity reference series all the way! i have all four corners replaced all for 50$ (hook ups) and actually put 5.25" in front instead of the 4"....sounds much better and sharper, the stock speakers in my car were really bad! (10 yr old, figure)

i say just put 2/3 way coaxial speakers, those are decent, but if you got the money go with component series, the best ones i've heard are alpine and infinity kappa series! amp those babies up and your car will sound sweet.
