    Installing Amp and Subs

How hard is it to install and hook up an amp and subwoofers? I pretty much have no idea about amps. I did install my head unit though so i can do simple electrical stuff.

I don't really want to pay to get it installed but if thats what it comes down to i guess i could.

    Any help would be great.

Its pretty simple to install amp and subs. The only hard part is knowing how to hookup the sub right.
To install the amp mount it in the trunk somewhere(behind the back seats).
Run a power wire from the amp to the battery terminal +. The gauge depends on how many watts your amp is. About 18' from the battery terminal split the power wire and connect the Fuse holder. The amp of the fuse depends on how many watts your system is.
Run the RCA cable wire down the OPPSITE side of the power wire and into the deck.
Run the thin blue REM wire from the amp to the HU and connect it to the REM wire in the deck. Should be blue or blue/white strip.
Connect the ground wire to the body chassis of the car, the shorter the better. Must be the same gauge as the power wire.

That is pretty much how you install the amp. Wiring up the sub will depend on which sub/amp and how many subs you plan to have. Tell me what it is and Ill tell you how to wire it.
