    interior lighting?

question for all you knowledgable peeps....i am thinking about installing some LED's or neons inside the car, but i'm kinda confused on how to wire them. should i wire them all in parallel and have a toggle switch to control them? does that sound right?

definately go with a switch. This way u can turn them on when u r driving if u want to, and u can easily shut them off if u get pulled over.

p.s. neons are legal as long as they r wired to your parking light. However, cops can still give u crap if they see them on.

oh....since you're talking about neons..does anyone know if in Oregon it is okay to have neon lights ON when driving...(only if cops don't see them right?) if that's so..then so i probably shouldn't put some in the air vents

i did have neons in my, but i gave them to my friend and someone told me about cold cathodes, they are used for computers, but if you cut off the switch thats already on it and install a switch for your car, you can run it to your battery and have a fuse to connect them so they don't short anything out. i have two 4" ones at the driver and passenger's feet, and two 12"s under my seat and the passenger. i find these to be a lot brighter, and they are a lot smaller that my old neons, so i could put them anywhere. and i got them for really cheap. like 25 for all of them i think.
