jvc head unit

jvc head unit

im temporarily using a jvc head unit, but hte wiring that came with the head unit i dont think is hte same color as the scosche harness. i wired them red to red and yellow to yellow and black to black and it just blew a fuse. i think its red to yellow and yellow to red on this. anybody else havea jvc head unit?

I had a JVC Headunit and the color match is exact on a metra. It should be no different with the scosche harness

Yellow to yellow
red to red
black to black

well i tried matching red with eyllow and yellow with red. and it worked.....also i think when best buy removed the head unit from my friends car then put all the wires to the rong spot so u cant put it back in ureself. everything was off the speaker wires and all i had to fix it all. i sort of got hte head unit working but everytiem i stick it in the sleeve i blow a fuse under teh hood. the fuse that does my lights and keyless entry. maybe i have some wire exposed but i need some more spare fuses until i can try it again.
