i have the Kenwood KDC-MP225 headunit, i've had it for about 4 months now and has worked great up untill now...this morning it worked fine, i get my my car after school and it dosn't work, power is still getting to it because a cd can still go in and out and the little red flashing light that it has when the faceplate is off still works...the screen on the faceplate dosn't even light up, what could it be??

I had a problem with my headunit, that everything was on, its just the faceplate wouldnt light up, music wouldnt play or anything when this happened.....my problem turned out to be that because my faceplate was detachable, it wasnt sitting right in the place where it was supposed to I guess, and the connection between the faceplate and the deck unit wasnt perfect.....I just give it a couple pushes when it does it, and the face comes back on

i got it to work, i have my radar detector hardwired into my fuse box but the wire is wrapped around the fuse and it made the fuse a little loose, i just had to push that back in and it worked fine...woohoo
