Legal tint???

    Legal tint???

    anyone know the legal tint amount in New York?

    i think its 35% but im not sure, i also heard different windows had different limits.

    70% in NY?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
    my god, and i thought 35% wouldve been legal, so pretty much any tint darker then the light side of my light yellow ass is illegal!!

    i also live in NY (Long Island ^^;) and i got 35%tint all around...but cops don't care about it...

    damn i really want tints, but the cops dont seem to like me around here, not that im a deliquint or anything, far from it.
    but they love pulling me over for no aparant reason.
    once in a matter of 3 weeks i got pulled over 3 times and did the whole drunk tests and breathalizer (i dont drink), i dont speed either(not too much :roll: ).

    dont know if i was was smart about my tint...i dont know WHAT the laws are here..or didnt before i got it. I know what i got wasnt legal tho...i got limo all the way around...AND tinted the front windshield w/ limo tinted visor that comes down...i will post pictures soon..

    hope i dont get pulled over by a cop that's a dick...haha

    u should be fine, there are people in Cali who still drive around in limo tint and hardly get pulled over the big thing in Cali for cops is speeding
