No thanks, got my hands full with Quixtar.

Quixtar, one of my roomates is doing that (been 4 months now, and he hasn't made any real money yet, not for the time he puts into it)...

Yah, pyramid scheme, multi-level marketing scheme, etc... All the time he put into that, he could have gotten a part-time job and made more money... and the stuff they sell is overpriced, lik they had a 27" Panasonic TV, it was $100 more through quixtar than to go bu it, at regular price at a local electronics store...

Not accurate at all. My Sponsor (the guy right above me) makes over 100K a year. He was an Air Force Pilot and now he does just that. He helps me make money too, because if he doesn't help people like me under him, he makes squat. The only business I know of in which you make money by helping people make money.


Pyramid schemes pay you for as many people you get it. Quixtar doesn't pay you unless money is genreated, period.

All it is is shopping somewhere besides walmart, and asking other people under you to do the same thing. It works, but only in numbers.

Yes, you could make money getting another part-time job, but that is beside the point. I do not want to give up more hours for a little more money. I want to have residual income, and it DOES work. It won't however, work, if you won't....work. That's why a lot of people quit. They're too scared/nervous about talking to people, so they quit. Its honest, and its hard work, really hard work, but it can pay off, if you stick to it.


Also yes he could have bought the tv a local store,but the store wouldn't have given him any money for it. BUT to buy the tv through Quixtar through circuit city (a partner business) that generates points, a lot of points, and he gets money back. Some of the quixtar brands are a little more, but not outrageous. I don't ever have to go to the store for toilet paper again! What a joy that was. But you can buy the name brand stuff for often cheaper. I can go to circuitcity.com through the quixtar website and buy wholesale instead of retail, get points toward my business, and have it delivered. The system is no different really than any other "rewards" system out there. You buy with a certain credit card, and get points or money back etc... quixtar is very similar.


Ok, I'm done. Sorry. I just hate when peopl call it a pyramid business because that's what they've been told...

Like the guy that tried to get me into Quixtar was saying that with a bit of work I could stop working (btw, this guy has been doing it for nearly 2 years and still HAS to work)... and anything that says you can make money but requires you to pay $200 to join, thanks but no thanks...

lol again. Nothing requires you pay $200 to join. I payed $50 to sign up. (That included literature and $55 worth goods to use myself or demo them as I wanted) I didn't even have to buy that. Then the first year I made no money, because I put no money into it. I didn't buy anything nor did I talk to anyone. (I was scared too) That's fair. (nothing is free except a job) He probably isn't doing it coerrectly. Most people try their own way instead of listening how to do it from the people that did it. Its not a "get rich quick" deal. You have to 'work' at it. Most people will never try it because a job is safe; safe and easy. investing time and money into anything is risky, and uncomfortable I know it. This business changes the way you think. It really is cool.

It sucks because if you stop working, you stop making money.

Lifestyle omst people define as T(time) + $(Money) The money, and time to spend it.

Well if you trade time for money, you will never have time AND money. Its funny but the principles of Quixtar are backed by all the millionaires in their books that are not even affiliated or ever have been with the business. They are just time tested principles. (Go read 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' by Robert Kiyosaki I think his last name is)

Quixtar is definetly not a scheme or a scam. We have over 650 partner businesses like Microsoft, IBM, Gateway, Circuit City, Barnes and Noble, etc etc etc. They would not be in business with a scam for legal reasons, ever. We're also a member of the Better Busniess Bureau, something a scheme cannot do.

In the five years its been around, Quixtar has made more millionares in the world than any other company ever, save one; Microsoft. Quixtar is also a debt-free private franchise. That's how we make the money. All the money that would be spent on tv and other marketing they pay us to do it, instead.


Hmmm, I'm not trying to sell it, just defending it, promise. I wouldn't approach you guys about the business anyway, over the net. Its so impersonal.

I don't know anything bout 2by2. But I tend to do a little more reseearch than angelfire.com, or google.com. Its filled with plenty of people who don't think; they simpley exist...Plenty of negative there. Hell you can find negative about anything on it. Try looking at the wall street journal, or better business bureau, or Fortune 500.

Well, about the $200, you're wrong on that, up here in Canada, to have access to all that quixtar shit, you have to buy a membership, which cost $200... after that you have free reign... actually I own the book "Poor Dad, Rich Dad", along with other ones like "Street Hockey Millionaire" and another one about a Barber which I don't remember the name of... I know how business works, I know the whole concept and ideas behind how a business should work, run etc... I was even offered a job up home to manage and run a hardware store... but I still don't like Quixtar or any Multi-Level Marketing program...

In Canada, Quixtar is run through a company called True North (which is to them you have to pay the $200 to join), and I won't debate the fact that Quixtar has made some people money, its very possible... but this late in the game, where the money you make depends on how many people you have under you and how much the make, its almost too late to join into that program because most people that would want to take part in that are already in it, which doesnt leave much people to join under you that will actually sell stuff and boost your money/points (whatever you want to call it)... and to be honest, the whole True North (remember, they run Quixtar in Canada) sounded way too much like a damn cult to me (from the people that had tried to get me to join)...

I'm telling you however its not a scam. Every investment has its risks, and most people investing small-time, lose or make small-time. Either I will win or lose big-time, only time will tell. People who rant about it online, never did what they were told. They didn't talk to people, didn't listen, and WOW, it didn't work. They want a "get rich quick" and are mad when they find that this isn't one of those... My friend, a SSgt, has been doing it for 4 months now, and is making $300 a month, from just that. Is it enough to retire yet, nope, but he's making more than he's spending already.

I think that sucks about the True North thing. Shouldn't that be price gouging(sp) or something?

I agree that it's not a scam, if it really was illegal, they would have been shut down along time ago, and like you said, I do know of people that did make money with it... but its really not for most people... me included... id rather just start my own brick and mortar business...

The thing that really turned me off to it is probably the people and the products, over here in Canada we don't have that many partners in it or products, it just doesn't seem to be a complete catalogue of stuff (although their energy drinks taste great! the XS ones). The people that we're trying to get me into it were pushy and kind of insulting, almost saying that I wont make money unless I joing that, etc... thats probably the biggest reason I can't stand the whole Quixtar thing... but yeah, i it works out for you, congrats

Cool. I like how you said brick and mortar business. When it does work for me. (gotta think positively) My dream job is to teach college and drum corps drumlines. Hardly any money in it, but it would be great fun to be able to do that.

You're right about the things that turn you off. I was approached back in 2000 and turned it down because of they way it was presented and by whom. But last year, it was like it was totally different. There's idiots and assholes in every business. (Those are the ones who won't make it) lol

I like the XS drinks too. I look at it this wway, even it if doesn't work for me, I am buying pretty good products, eating healthier and taking vitamins again, and I get toothpaste toilet paper and all that other crap delivered to me.

Yeah, I want to own a store, have a physical location and meet customers face to face. I'd love to own and run a performance parts store, but, there are already 3 in my city that deal just with performance parts (we are abou 65 000 people), so I just don't think there is a big enough scene here to support another performance shop.

How bout a Corolla Performance store?
Maybe we can arrange a little 'accident' for the others...

lmao... a corolla performance store would fail miserably here, I know of 2 corolla's in the city that have mods done to them... and they aren't modded that much... it would be fun to start developing parts for corollas though, and selling them online, but, too many cheap parts out there that people would buy first...
