    Need help installing fog lights

From my sig, yall know I have an XRS, that means my car comes with fog lights. Why do I need help for? I am doing this to my sister 2000 Sentra. I know this is a corolla forum, but the question i am asking is something that would happen to a corolla owner too.

Here's my question. This is kinda similar to those people who has a 03+ Corolla CE or LE and installed OEM fog lights. I have bought some OEM fog lights for my sister Sentra, I took out the bumper and put them on (just like those who put OEM fog lights on a CE or LE). I found the factory wiring (or should i say the harness with the plug), I plugged it in. But my problem is, that car does not have that fog light switch on its headlight switch (that stick thing). I want to ask those people (or whoever know how to do it) who did this on their car, how did you get it work? Did you buy another switch/stick with the fog light switch, or you used another harness with a relay? Can I just wire it to my parking light so when my parking light is on, the fog light is on, so i don't need a switch at all.

Thanks in advance to whoever can help me.

At that current demand there more than likely is a relay involved. Also I dont know if all Sentra's come with all the same harnesses (like Corollas) so you could change the multifunction switch (if you could find one that is) And I would not tie them to the parking lamps circuit.

If I were you I would go ahead and isolate them (unplug from factory wiring) and wire them on there own circuit & switch or a similar set-up.

Have you checked any Nissan forums and ask ??
