    Questions Before I Buy

Alright guys, I am buying lowering springs and performance struts for my car at the end of the week (probably won't get them on until after new years since i'll be moving, and busy with holidays and overtime at work). Im getting Tokico HP Blue for my struts, and my questions reside with the springs.

First of all, I want to be completely sure that the lowering springs for a 98-02 Corolla will fit without any hassle on a 93-97 Corolla (specifically the Tein H-Tech).

Secondly, if anyone knows about other springs that have a still smooth ride (I know it wont be as smooth as stock) but still handles really well, let me know.

And thirdly (sp?), what is everyone's opinions on Apexi springs, supposedly my local shop for parts can get them from Japan from their supplier, and at a discounted price since they are supposedly discontinued.

Any thoughts or ideas on any of those points would be greatly appreciated, thank you all for your time.

    1. yes they'll fit, 93-02 suspension is the same
    2. smooth ride will come from the shocks, kyb for smoother ride, tokico for better handling
    3. i dont know who is riding on apex'i springs, but tein S/H tech are nice, S tech for an aggressive stance, H tech for a nicer stock look but still lowered..if you wanna go adjustable, go GC coilovers, vamp has those on his car, not sure if he still has them, a LOT of people are on tein S tech

I'll be getting H-Tech if I go with Tein since the car won't be as physically low to the ground (i'll be driving it in the snow). I'll probably stick with the Tokico's then, id still rather have performance over smooth ride, as long as the Tokico's aren't spine busting. Thanks.

Cool, thanks for the input. My struts are ordered and I have to call later on today to order my springs.

H tech and Tokico is a nice setup. Not spine busting but high performance. I have this setup and it's awesome!
