It's actually quite easy. Buy some from autozone or where ever, remove your wheels, probably your calipers too, hammer the old one out, hammer the new one in. I think:superconf I have never done it, but I saw my mechanic do it, it was almost a duh type replacement.

    fronts or rears?

For the fronts you need to make a notch on the brake dust shield in order to allow the stud to be removed from the back if you plan on hammer them out on the car. - I don't like that method because you risk damaging the wheel bearing from the hammering. The proper way is to press the hub out then hammer or press the stud out on a work bench.

For the rears you simply remove the drum and unbolt the hub then hammer or press it out on a work bench.

Installation is easy, just need a open end lug nut and a couple of washers to pull the stud back into place.
