Smoking tail lights.. what do you think?



(look at the red and gunmetal.. imagine it mildly darker... which would look better?)

sup, maybe you guys can help. I got a corolla S gunmetal color (zero's car for example. I got JDM headlamps and an atlus grill which looks pretty cool altogether. I want my tailligths to have the same matching look.I plan on smoking it mildly... like say.. slighty darker then the tail lights of the R00.

So what color tail lights should I buy to smoke? which will turn out a bit better. My choices are the fully red one to smoke or the gunmetal taillights. what do you guy think?

I am trying to imagine it but having a hard time seeing it.

I think anytime you spray that smoke stuff on you are in for maintence on that car. the smoke tends to peel in the car wash.

If you get the gunmetel you may find that it is dark enoughj already.

Well you could smoke it from the inside. But if you are going to tear apart a perfectly good pair of Altezza's just to tint them I would suggest you get some tails from different cars at a junk yard to test out your skillz on first.

You could look into getting some tinted vinyl and stick that on. I dont know how light you can get it but I am sure they make it.

True but since most tezzas tend to fog up alot and people reseal em might as well open up em, paint and reseal ...

I think u should get these lights called "Euro style Altezza" tail lights. They can be found on Ebay. sorrie i don't have a picture of them. But they are black in the background. they look like the CHROME tail lights, only it's smooth and doesn't have the lines across the shell of the light. they are really nice. I think that would match your car a lil better b/c since u say u have the black headlights, then maybe the black tail lights would match it. Well that's just my opinion. it's better than having black headlights and gunmetal tail lights. looks a lil mis-match??? i have the blue corolla. and my plan for it is that i am gonna tint the windows black. get the black headlights and the euro style tail lights (b/c they are black). I want the blue/black theme for my car. i dunno if that black euro tail lights would look good on the Moonshadow color, but if the black head lights work, why wouldn't the black tail lights.

VHT nightshades spray paint or ne other paint sold to tint/smoke out lights..

hahaha true there. but that style I dont really like... its kinda too shiny for me also that ring it has for the rear view lights I perher the stock yet darker look (also no orange or pink).

the red or gunmetal one.. as dark as they maybe, I still want o smoke it even a bit darker. it would be a pretty nice match.

YeaH! those lights. i like it, it looks different. All i see on the Civics are the CHROME lights. that gets soooo boring. I was gonna get the chrome ones, but then i realize that chrome and black tinted windows don't go together. The only thing that i don't like about the lights is maybe the REVERSE light. it looks too chromey. like the whole thing is black and red and then the WHITE light that looks like gems. they should fix that.

I like the pink in the stock lights, it makes the car look more girly

My car is silver and I'm goin to get the gunmetal tail lights I think those would look MILK!!
