    Sound Deaden?

How quiet do you guys think 2003 Corolla is?
I wanna do some sound deadening but I am not sure how much they will decrease the noise level. Do you think it's worth a try?

Well I just did about half my car with $140 worth of stuff and pretty much have no vibration except for the trunk lid. I've put a lot of sound deadener on the trunk lid, works great when the subs are half way on full but past that, it gets bad.

I'm gonna work on it some more tomorrow and try to get it out. But i'm not sure how well it will work.

I didn't really put all that on for quieting the car down. I wanted it louder.

Nothing seems really different as far as sound when you're just driving. I pretty much did everything except for the floor. So I think that's where most road noise comes from.

I can tell you this much, it ain't worth it to put all it on so you get a quieter ride. I'm damned tired after putting all that on, and I really only did maybe 1/2-2/3 of the car.\

It's only worth it if you got a system and everything's vibrating, cuz the bass hits hard!

The raammat stuff that I used doesn't require any heat either. lol, the smell did kinda kill the car, new car smell went away after the raammatting, then when I sprayed the triple expanding foam on the lid, it REALLY went away...but now all the smells are going away and it doesn't really smell anymore

And yeah, dynamat is so overpriced, there's way cheaper alternatives.
