    re: spoiler question

I have an 03 LE and installed an aftermarket OEM style spoiler. I didn't even consider going to the dealer. I got mine from spoilerdepot.com. I had it painted Lunar Mist which added to the price. I've had mine for just over a year now, and no problem at all. The only problem I have is the added weight to the trunk lid. I have to warn people to close it slowly. I'm thinking of changing the torsion rod similar to S. I'm not sure it will help and if it's easy to do. I hope someone here can help.

it was simple, although I paid someone to do it for me because I've never done anything like it. It should come with a template for the holes and the wiring simply attaches to your brake light. You'll need help aligning the spoiler.

Were the holes drilled through 2 layers of metal as the rear boot lid has got a second metal liner inside.

I bought the exact one from that seller. First of all, he is great, answers all questions, helpful, and shipped extremely fast. As for the spoiler itself, it's very durable and it looks great. The color matches perfectly.

Assuming that my spoiler is the same as this one, yes you have to drill through the second layer of metal but only for the outer screws. The inner screws line up with the holes that are already there. :D

This is the guy I bought the OEM style spoiler from for my girls 03 corolla. I got it painted and shipped to me for $140 which I thought was a great deal. The paint matched perfectly and he was a pleasure to do business with. I also bought a OEM style spoiler from him for my 04 accord coupe which matched perfectly. He would be a great person to buy from.
