stock radio reset

    stock radio reset

    hi there,
    i disconnected the battery to do some work and after connecting it back i noticed that all the channel pre-sets in the radio were gone, also the bass and treble were set to 0. is this right, or something else is going on?

    Yeah that's what should happen. The head unit gets its only power from the battery. Disconnect the main terminals and everything on your HU goes bye bye.

    yes. normal. Aftermarket HU's have a battery inside that usually guards against that. (at least they used to.)
