taking off emblems

    taking off emblems

    i had my car for about a year...if i take them off now...will it leave an imprint or what...

    the rear T emlbem will leave a hole.......they rest are just taped on.

    but if i take it off...will the paint be darker underneath since i had my car for that long

    no.........your paint won't fade that quickly. I took my side moldings off after like 8 months and everything looks the same.

    I took my emlbems off after a year only thing is its harder to take off. Took me two days because 1st day my fingers started to hurt yes I did it the hard way and did it all by hand (fingers)


    One more thing I did it on a hot day (93) we had a heat wave in the spring anyways after taking it off just wash your car no need to wax or buff it. Just clean it a little more then normal in the area where the emlbems were. 8)
